On the orders of U.S. Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, the country's military forces have launched a lethal kinetic strike against a ship in the eastern Pacific Ocean. It was operated by organizations designated as terrorist organizations, according to the US. This was reported by the Southern Command of the U.S. Armed Forces.

"Intelligence confirmed that the vessel was traveling along known drug trafficking routes in the eastern Pacific Ocean and was involved in drug trafficking operations. As a result of the strike, two narcoterrorists were eliminated, one survived. Following the engagement, the Coast Guard was immediately notified to activate a search and rescue system for the survivor," the command said.
