A foreign mercenary from the Philippines, who fought on the side of the Russian occupation troops, has been liquidated in Donetsk Region.
The Main Directorate of Intelligence of Ukraine reports that.
According to military intelligence, the body of a citizen of the Republic of the Philippines John Patrick was found among the destroyed occupants. He was serving in the 9th Assault Company of the 3rd Battalion of the 3rd Battalion of the 283rd Regiment of the 144th Motorized Rifle Division of the 20th Combined Arms Army of the Russian Armed Forces.
The GUR noted that the foreign mercenary died during the so-called "meat assault" near the village of Novoselovka in the Kramatorsk district of the Donetsk region. He had with him only a weapon, ammunition and a piece of paper with the number of the unit and the commander's contacts. The invader did not know Russian.

From the information obtained from the seized electronic devices, it was established that the Filipino's basic training lasted only a week, after which he was sent to the front line without proper training. There was no evacuation after the wounding.
The GSD notes that Russia systematically attracts foreigners and migrant workers to its armed forces through deception or pressure - they are promised rear guard duty or threatened with problems with law enforcement agencies.
Ukrainian intelligence warns foreign citizens against traveling to Russia and any work on its territory, especially illegal work, because it may result in forced participation in combat operations without training and chances of survival.
