Russians Retreated From Important Positions In Kherson Region

The Russian military withdrew from some positions in the Kherson region due to active actions of the Defense Forces. This was reported by the speaker of the Southern Defense Forces Vladislav Voloshyn in a commentary to Ukrinform.

So, according to him, the enemy retreated from Alekseevsky Island.

"On Alekseevsky Island, our intelligence records the abandonment of positions. This happened as a result of the active actions of the Ukrainian Defense Forces and the low moral and psychological state of those servicemen who were at these positions," he said.

Voloshyn also stressed that the enemy could not re-establish observation posts there.

The speaker of the Southern Defense Forces added that from the Kherson direction the Russians are transferring units to the Orekhov direction.

"From the Kherson direction, the enemy is now regrouping and removing airborne troops units, transferring them to the Orekhov direction to maintain the pace of assault operations," he said.
