The aircraft carrier Abraham Lincoln has arrived in the area of responsibility of the US Central Command (CENTCOM) in the Middle East to contribute to regional security. This was announced by the command's press service in social network X.

"The aircraft carrier strike group Abraham Lincoln is currently deployed to the Middle East to contribute to regional security and stability," the press service said.

The CENTCOM also published photos of sailors who are engaged in maintenance of the ship and the aircraft on board. The press service specified that the photos were taken on January 26 while the aircraft carrier was moving in the Indian Ocean.
