Video Fact: Britain's Prime Minister Spoofed Macron

Keir Starmer went public wearing glasses like the President of France.

British Prime Minister Keir Starmer posted a video on his TikTok social media page in which he pictured French President Emmanuel Macron wearing sunglasses.

Starmer shared an excerpt from the show Political Party Live in which he said the French word "bonjour" while wearing sunglasses. In the video's description, Starmer tagged Macron's account and wrote, "Talk to me, Goose." The phrase is a reference to the movie "Top Gun" (also known as "Top Gun"), whose protagonist wears similar glasses.

On January 15, Macron appeared at a speech to the country's Armed Forces with a red and inflamed right eye. The next day, Macron said he would have to wear sunglasses for a while because of eye problems.
