According to the Ukrainian State Service for Emergency Situations, a four-story hospital building with a working inpatient department was hit in Obolonsky district, writes unian.net.
"The fire was liquidated. The body of a man was found during the inspection of the premises," the report said.
Rescuers said 25 people were evacuated, three people were injured.
About 50 rescuers and 10 units of fire and rescue equipment worked at the site.
According to the chairman of Obolonska Regional State Administration Kyryl Fesik, the blow struck a private hospital, at the time of the blow there were about 70 people.
"Rescuers and all specialized services are doing everything possible for the safe evacuation of staff and patients," he said.
