Delcy Rodriguez Has Officially Become The Interim President Of Venezuela

She took the oath of office.

Venezuela's Executive Vice President Delsy Rodriguez took the oath of office as interim leader of the Bolivarian Republic on January 5.

"Resolved: you, citizen Delsina Rodriguez Gomez, are vested with the powers of interim president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela," said Parliament Speaker Jorge Rodriguez. He also congratulated Rodriguez on her appointment.

Rodriguez previously headed the country's Economy and Finance Ministry and Oil Ministry in parallel.
