Trump: 152 US Planes Took Part In The Operation To Capture Maduro

The U.S. president shared details about the operation in Venezuela.

The operation to capture Venezuelan leader Nicolas Maduro involved significant forces of the US army.

This is according to the speech of US President Donald Trump before Republican congressmen.

While communicating with his fellow party members, the head of the White House revealed individual details of the US military's actions in Caracas. According to him, the operation had a complex and multilevel character and was prepared using air, ground and cyber capabilities.

The US president said that 152 US aircraft were involved in the operation, as well as a significant number of military personnel on the ground. He claimed that the American side had no casualties, while on the other side there were casualties among the military formations in Venezuela.

Trump also emphasized that before the landing, the US forces carried out a cyberattack. It led to a complete blackout in the Venezuelan capital, which was one of the key elements of the preparation of the operation.

"It was a very complex operation. There were 152 airplanes involved. There were a lot of our fighters operating on the ground. And none of them were killed," Trump said.

He added that the clashes resulted in the deaths of soldiers from the other side, particularly foreign military personnel who supported the Maduro regime.
