Whitkoff Spoke About The Project Of Rebuilding Ukraine After The War

The U.S. will be working with one of the largest investment firms in the world.

President Donald Trump's special envoy Steve Whitkoff has revealed how the US plans to help with Ukraine's post-war reconstruction. He shared the details during a press conference in Paris after a meeting of the "Coalition of the Willing".

Whitkoff said the peace agreement will open up a wide range of opportunities for the Ukrainian people.

"For people who will come home from the war so they can find jobs there (in Ukraine, - ed.). We are working with BlackRock, with its director Larry Fink on a project (regarding the future of Ukraine, - ed.). We believe it will be very, very important for the people of Ukraine," he said.

BlackRock is one of the world's largest investment companies, managing trillions of dollars and influencing global financial markets. Trump's special envoy said the initiative is considered crucial to Ukraine's future prosperity and recovery.

"The territories issue is the most critical, but we hope to reach compromises," Whitkoff added.
