To put pressure on Putin.
The United States could conduct a military operation to capture Chechnya's head Ramzan Kadyrov to pressure Vladimir Putin to end the war, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky has said. "Please, here is an example with [Venezuelan President Nicolas] Maduro. An operation was carried out. Everyone saw the result, the whole world. They did it quickly. Well, let them do some operation with this, what's-his-name, with Kadyrov, with this murderer. Maybe then Putin will see it and think about it," said Zelensky while talking to journalists.
He said that the US has tools for real pressure on Russia and they know how to use them, but for that Ukraine should be Washington's priority. For now, representatives of US President Donald Trump are negotiating with Russia, but the latter is "turning its nose up," Zelensky stated. At the same time, he warned Moscow that Kiev has "quite strong" partners and "can turn their noses up if they want to."
