A Drone Attacked An Oil Tanker Off The Coast Of Turkey

The vessel was on its way to Novorossiysk to be loaded with oil.
The Palau-flagged oil tanker Elbus, sailing in the Black Sea off the coast of Turkey, near the town of Kastamon, was attacked by a drone.
It was reported by Ortadogu.
It is noted that the tanker was heading to the Russian port of Novorossiysk to load oil. The attack damaged the top of the tanker, but none of the crew members were injured. After an emergency signal from the ship, Coast Guard crews were dispatched to the scene.
The damaged tanker is being towed to the port of Inebola for detailed inspection and safety measures. The source of the attack and the extent of the damage will be clarified after technical inspections at the port.
According to the publication, although no official statements have been made regarding the source of the incident, the nature of the attack and the security situation in the region are being closely monitored by Turkey's controlling authorities.
