It is reported RBC-Ukraine with reference to the Russian media.
The strike on Belgorod
Local publicks of the Russian Federation write that in Belgorod and Belgorod district after the air alert and the subsequent missile strike there was a blackout. Substations and cogeneration plants were attacked.

Other local channels report that the Luch cogeneration plant in Belgorod was attacked.
"After the missile attack on the power substation and the Luch CHPP in Belgorod, light also disappeared in neighboring settlements and in Shebekino," the report said.
It should be noted that the missile attack on Belgorod, damage to infrastructure and blackout was confirmed by the governor of the region Vyacheslav Gladkov.

"Arrival" in Orel

"There are problems with light and water in Orel, the local CHPP is under attack," a local Russian Telegram channel reported.
It should be noted, this is not the first time the CHPP in Belgorod has been attacked. The bombardment of Belgorod was reported on December 10 - then the city was also left without light after the arrival of missiles.
The same situation with Orel - in November in the city there were explosions after notices about the threat of missiles and drones. It happened on the 13th. A little earlier, on November 5, it was also loud in Orel. Locals wrote in public forums that the explosions "shook the walls in the houses".
