Azerbaijan And USA Sign Strategic Partnership Charter

Baku distances itself from the Russian Federation.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and U.S. Vice President J.D. Vance have signed a charter on strategic partnership, the U.S. Embassy in Azerbaijan reports.

"This document will further strengthen relations between the two countries. The United States is committed to continuing close cooperation with Azerbaijan to realize the great potential of the South Caucasus region," the embassy said in a statement.
