Netanyahu Called For Regime Change In Tehran
Benjamin Netanyahu

Israel's prime minister thanked Trump.

Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu called for regime change in Tehran, delivering his first video address Saturday morning since the start of U.S.-Israeli joint strikes on Iran, writes CNN (translated by Charter97.org).

Netanyahu addressed "all segments of the Iranian people," calling on them to "throw off the yoke of tyranny and bring about the birth of a free and peaceful Iran." He emphasized that "joint action will create conditions in which the brave citizens of Iran can take their destiny into their own hands."

Netanyahu had already appealed to Iranians to rise up against the regime during the 12-day war with Iran in June.

Beginning his address, he thanked President Donald Trump "for his historic leadership."

"This murderous terrorist regime must not be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons that would give it the ability to threaten all of humanity," Netanyahu stated.
