A "gold Rush" Has Begun In ORLO

Occupiers search for treasure while miners sit penniless.

The occupiers in the ORLO are imitating 19th century gold mining to hide the collapse of the coal industry and six-month wage debts to miners.

The situation in the region was reported by the head of the Lugansk regional military administration Alexei Kharchenko.

The official said that on the territory of the Rovenki community, the occupiers issued four licenses for exploration and mining of minerals, particularly gold, as well as for geological study of the subsoil to search for associated metals.

And this is despite the fact that local miners have not seen their earnings for six months.

Gold that is not there

The center of another "scam of the century" was the Rovenkiv community. Here, at the Bobrykovskoye deposit, the invaders are going to "restore" the mining of precious metal. However, the main gold reserves there were exhausted in the XIX century.

By the way, this is not the first attempt to imitate an industrial breakthrough. A year and a half ago, similar auctions and attempts to "invest" ended in losses. Now the occupants have again issued four licenses, promising "golden mountains" to divert attention from the complete collapse of the coal industry.

Miner's debts: reality instead of dreams

With the tales of gold mines, the real sector of the economy of ORLO is in a coma. Even at the Belorechenskaya mine, which has always been considered profitable and successful, the situation is critical:

Delayed payments: The miners last received their salaries back in the summer of 2025.

Void promises: Instead of the promised modernization, the new "owners" from the Russian Federation simply siphon off resources without paying for labor.

Lack of prospects: Despite the profits from coal sales, the money does not reach the workers.
