The First Day Of Talks In Abu Dhabi Is Over

Negotiations will resume late Thursday morning.

The first day of peace talks between Ukraine, the United States and Russia in the UAE capital Abu Dhabi has ended, Axios journalist Barak Ravid quoted a source as saying on Wednesday, February 4.

The journalist's informed source said the talks would resume late Thursday morning local time.

The Ukrainian delegation includes, among others, the secretary of Ukraine's National Security and Defense Council Rustem Umerov, the head of the Presidential Office Kyryl Budanov, Deputy Head of the OP Serhiy Kislitsa, Chief of the General Staff of Ukraine Andriy Gnatov, Advisor to the Office of the President Alexander Bevz and Head of the Servant of the People faction David Arahamiya.

Among the members of the U.S. delegation are U.S. presidential special envoy Steve Whitkoff and Trump's son-in-law Jared Kushner. Also present in the photo from the talks was U.S. Secretary of the Army Dan Driscoll.

The delegation of the aggressor country includes GRU chief Igor Kostyukov (head of the delegation), the GRU's first deputy chief of information Alexander Zorin, and Putin's envoy Kirill Dmitriev.
