Russian Federation Army Offensive Stalled After Musk Blocked Access To Starlink

Russian units are "blind as kittens".

Two days after the Russian terminals' access to Starlink was effectively restricted, the pace of the Russian occupation army's offensive in Ukraine seems to be slowing down. This is reported by Politico with reference to an unnamed Ukrainian military official.

According to him, such a trend is indeed recorded in some parts of the front, but it is too early to draw final conclusions.

"It will be necessary to continue monitoring to determine whether it will persist and whether other factors will appear," the interlocutor told reporters.

The official specified that during the inspection, not only the devices used by Russian units were disconnected, but also a part of unregistered Ukrainian military Starlink networks. The process of registering such networks continues.

Other interlocutors of the publication also confirm the problems the Russian troops are facing now.

"In fact, they (Russian units - ed.) have problems now. They are like blind kittens," said one of the heads of the AFU General Staff, whose name is not mentioned.

Reminder, this week the Ukrainian Defense Ministry in coordination with SpaceX began a large-scale inspection of Starlink terminals. The occasion was the information that Russian occupiers started illegally using Starlink satellite communications during massive drone attacks on Ukrainian energy infrastructure.
