Zelensky: We Will Definitely Do Everything To Make Sure That "Oreshnik" In Belarus Does Not Even Start Working

The President of Ukraine addressed the Belarusians.

Ukraine sends different signals to Belarusians with a request not to allow itself to be dragged into hostilities. Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky said this at a closed meeting with journalists.

The "Glavkom" publication, which was present at the event, publishes the main points of the Ukrainian leader's speech.

- We believe that there are risks in case of dragging the Belarusians into the war. All the time Russia has been building air corridors of various kinds, which were used by the Russians during attacks on our energy sector. First of all, these are attack drones. This is technical support, technical equipment on antennas on the territory of Belarus, which helped the drones," Zelensky noted.

According to him, Ukraine has been dealing with this issue and found what to do with some antennas to reduce the scale of attacks against us.

But we can't deal with the issue of "Oreshnik" as tacitly as we dealt with the issue of antennas on the territory of Belarus. And our signal - there is already fully or partially "Oreshnik". Preparatory and technical works have been done there. We clearly understand this.

And there is our use of missiles on Kapustin Yar, where the Russians keep appropriate weapons. So this is our signal to Belarus - you can be drawn into this war, and the Russians want it.

He expressed hope that representatives of the people of Belarus will tell Europeans, other nations and states that Belarus is being drawn into the war.

- Because "Oreshnik" are not antennas anymore. We have done everything so that the antennas would not work and we will definitely do everything so that "Oreshnik" would not even start working. That's a threat to us. And we want to use all the tools to prevent this from happening," Zelenski emphasized.

And added that if Russia succeeds in involving another country in this war - Belarus - it will be a great tragedy.

The President of Ukraine recalled that after the first missile strikes from the Belarusian territory, official Minsk transferred responsibility to Russia. Now, when it comes to new types of weapons and drones, it will be much more difficult to explain their appearance only by the actions of the Russian military.
