In the AFU revealed the details.
Communication problems have sharply complicated the management of Russian army units in a number of frontline areas. The loss of a stable channel of coordination has affected tactics that previously allowed the enemy to operate in small mobile groups.
The United Forces Group of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reports this.
After the Starlink terminals were disconnected, Russian troops had serious difficulties in controlling units on the battlefield. This primarily affected the use of drones to support small assault groups.
Without stable communications, the ability to coordinate actions in real time, which used to be a key element of offensive tactics, disappeared.
UAVs without control and the weather factor
It is noted that the shutdown of satellite communications combined with difficult weather conditions effectively paralyzed the enemy's well-established schemes.
Small groups operating under the cover of drones were deprived of constant monitoring and correction. As a result, the effectiveness of such units sharply decreased, and the operations themselves became fragmented and uncoordinated.
Situation in certain directions
In the Kupyansk direction, the emergence of isolated groups that are focused not on advancement, but on their own survival was recorded. In the area of Volchansk and border areas there are attempts of attacks without full systemic management.
"In the Kupyansk direction - isolated groups that are fighting not for advancement, but for survival. Volchansk and border areas - attempts to climb without systemic management," the report said.
Pressing without result
It is also noted that Russian forces continue to exert pressure along the northern border, but without significant breakthroughs or strategic changes.
The loss of sustained communication limits opportunities for coordination and reduces the overall pace of combat operations.
