ISW: Russia Is Preparing A New Large-scale Offensive In Ukraine

The Kremlin's strategic reserves may not be enough.

Russia is planning to launch a large-scale offensive in southern and eastern Ukraine in the summer of 2026, which could affect several areas at once.

To implement these plans, the Kremlin intends to use strategic reserves that it has been building up since last year, according to a report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).

The very fact that it is preparing for an offensive is seen as further confirmation of Moscow's lack of real interest in ending the war on terrorism.
