US Prepares 'final Blow' On Iran

There are several options on the table for Trump.

The U.S. Defense Department is developing several scenarios for a so-called "final strike" on Iran. They include both a large-scale bombing campaign and the possible involvement of ground troops, Axios reported, citing sources.

According to the publication's interlocutors, the goal of these plans is either to force Tehran to make concessions in negotiations or to end the conflict with a show of force.

The options under consideration include:

seizing or blocking the oil island of Kharg;

operating on the island of Larak, which controls the Strait of Hormuz;

taking control of the island of Abu Musa, which is also claimed by the United Arab Emirates;

blocking ships exporting Iranian oil.

Separately analyzed are scenarios of deep ground operations to control nuclear materials, as well as massive airstrikes on relevant facilities.

White House Press Secretary Caroline Leavitt warned Tehran of the possible consequences of these actions.
