Trump Is Threatening NATO

The U.S. president took offense at allies over Iran.

US President Donald Trump has again sharply criticized his allies, saying NATO member states have done nothing to help the US on the issue with Tehran.

He wrote on his social media network Truth Social on Thursday, March 26.

"NATO countries have done absolutely nothing to help with the mad state that is Iran, which is now militarily defeated," Trump said in the posting.

He added: "The U.S. needs nothing from NATO, but 'never forget' this very important point."
