The first details of the operation became known.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Air Force simultaneously struck three areas in Iran. More than 50 aircraft, operating under AMAN reconnaissance escort, raided Iranian regime infrastructure.
It was reported by Channel 12.
The strikes were carried out simultaneously on a heavy water plant in Arak, which served as a key base for the production of plutonium for nuclear weapons, as well as a facility in Yazd, unique to Iran, which produces explosives needed for the uranium enrichment process.
The raid consisted of three waves of attacks lasting several hours. During the operation, key nuclear program facilities in Arak and Yazd, as well as Iranian regime weapons production sites, were hit. Among the sites attacked were a military production facility that produced a variety of weapons and an Iranian Defense Ministry facility where advanced explosive devices were developed and manufactured.
A second site supplied weapons to regime terrorist units, including Hamas and Hezbollah. A factory producing components for ballistic missiles and air-to-air missiles was also hit. The attack on these sites and facilities dealt a comprehensive blow to the regime's production capabilities as well as its ballistic missile and nuclear programs.
