Ukraine's Intelligence Service Has Caught Russian Satellites

They were filming U.S. military bases in the Middle East.

Russian satellites have been surveying military facilities of the US and its allies in the Middle East and transmitting this data to Iran. In particular, they filmed the Diego Garcia base on Chagos Island and Prince Sultan Air Base in Saudi Arabia.

This was reported by Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky on his page in X with reference to Ukrainian intelligence data.

So, the first object was filmed on March 24, and the second - on March 25. In addition, on March 26, Russian satellites spied on Incirlik base in Turkey and Al-Udeid airbase in Qatar.

In addition to military facilities, Russian satellites filmed Kuwait's international airport, the Greater Burgan oil field and the Shaibah oil and gas field.

It should be noted that on March 27, Iran launched a combined air strike on Prince Sultan's base. According to US media, several US military personnel were wounded and a refueling plane was damaged.

Commenting on the intelligence data, the Ukrainian leader wondered how sanctions could be lifted from a country that passes information to Iran to attack bases of the US and its allies.

It is about easing sanctions against Russian oil. The U.S. recently allowed the sale of Russian oil and oil products loaded on ships before March 12. The corresponding permission will be valid until April 11.

"We need to put pressure on the aggressor. And lifting sanctions is definitely not pressure," the Ukrainian president emphasized.
