The US President threatened to destroy the regime's power plants and Hark Island.
Donald Trump has threatened to strike Iranian power plants, oil wells and seize the strategic island of Kharq if negotiations to end the war fail. The U.S. president wrote this on Truth Social.
"If for some reason an agreement is not reached soon, which it probably will be, and if the Strait of Hormuz is not immediately 'opened for business,' we will end our lovely 'staycation' in Iran by blowing up and completely destroying all of their power plants, oil wells, and Kharq Island (and possibly all of the desalination plants!) that we have intentionally not yet "touched.
This will be retribution for our many soldiers and others that Iran has brutally murdered during the old regime's 47-year reign of terror," Trump said.
Washington's main demand remains the complete unblocking of the Strait of Hormuz, through which about 20 percent of the world's oil and gas supplies pass in normal times.
