The states of the region are ready to invest in Kyiv's technologies.
The US-Israeli war against Iran may bring Ukraine not only damage, but also great strategic opportunities. That's according to British historian Peter Caddick-Adams in his column in The Telegraph, who calls Ukraine the "surprise winner" of the war in the Middle East.
In his estimation, despite rising oil prices, which benefits Russia, and potential cuts in Western aid, Ukraine has the most important advantage - unique combat experience. This includes countering drones, particularly with the help of interceptor drones. Drones of various categories and classes have become one of the decisive factors in the war with Russia, and Ukrainian developments have already proved their effectiveness on the front.
Now that Middle Eastern countries find themselves under regular strikes by Iranian UAVs, the experience of the Ukrainian armed forces could play a key role in the defense of the entire region.
The author notes that Ukraine quickly adapts technologies and is able to scale production. Potentially we are talking about the production of up to 10 million units per year, which exceeds even China's capabilities.
With this background, the Persian Gulf countries are already showing real interest in Ukrainian developments. In addition, the Ukrainian military demonstrates high efficiency in the use of air defense systems, including Patriot, which is also recognized by Western partners.
Four years of war against Russia have helped to develop competent tactics for the use of expensive missiles to these systems. Against the backdrop of the Iranian threat, regional states are ready to invest in Kiev's technology.
A growing number of states are beginning to realize that modern warfare has shown that cheap precision weapons can be effective and strategically very efficient.
