Belarus Extends Ban On Import Of Some Goods From The Territory Of Lithuania

"The government" extended restrictions on the import of certain goods across the Belarusian-Lithuanian border. The corresponding decree was signed by Prime Minister Alexander Turchin on March 30.
The ban is valid from April 1, 2024 and applies to goods imported into the country for subsequent sale. Previously, it has been extended several times - now the restrictions will be in force until December 31, 2027.
The list of goods remains unchanged. It includes, in particular, water, alcoholic beverages (beer, wine, vermouth and other drinks), vinegar, tires and tires. Earlier, second hand goods were excluded from the list, and restrictions for transit transportation were lifted.
The ban does not apply to goods for personal use, as well as products seized or confiscated on other grounds.
