Air Traffic Over Vilnius Airport Was Again Restricted

Because of the balloons from Belarus.

The restrictions were introduced at 2:00 after the detection of navigation marks, characteristic of weather probes, in areas posing a danger to aviation, and lifted at 3:21.

As a result, a flight with 87 passengers was diverted to Copenhagen, the morning flight from the Lithuanian capital to the Danish one was canceled. It is noted that during the day on March 31 individual flight delays are possible due to rotation of crews and planes.

This is the seventh case this year when the work of the airport is disrupted due to balloons.
