It's raining oil and soot over the city.
Tehran is shrouded in thick smoke after a strike on fuel tanks. Car refueling has been restricted.
The residents of Tehran woke up Sunday to thick darkness after an attack on fuel tanks. The Israeli Air Force had struck the night before, writes cursorinfo.co.il.
Fires continued to burn in the tanks into the morning. Dense smoke has enveloped the metropolis of millions of residents. Iranian authorities have restricted refueling - each car can now get no more than 20 liters instead of the previous 30.
Videos and photos released by opposition groups show heavy blackout and ongoing burning. Iranian firefighters could not get close to the blaze at night.

The streets show soot and oil residue on sidewalks and building walls. A correspondent for the French AFP news agency said, "It is raining oil and soot."
A source in Iranian agencies said tanks used by the regime had been attacked. He emphasized that pressure is mounting on the authorities. "Soon the regime will not be able to provide citizens with basic resources," the source added. The IDF specified that the target of the strikes were fuel tanks used for military and terrorist purposes.
