Drones Attacked A Wildberries Warehouse In Yekaterinburg, Russia

The site is located approximately 2,000 kilometers from Ukraine.

On the morning of July 25, explosions were heard across Russia. The city of Yekaterinburg in the Urals—approximately 2,000 km from Ukraine—was hit, according to OBOZ.UA.

There are reports of an attack on yet another warehouse of the Russian marketplace Wildberries; a fire broke out on the premises. Footage from the scene was compiled by the Exilenova+ Telegram channel.

What is known about the attack

Exilenova+ reported at 8:50 a.m. that Ukrainian drones had traveled thousands of kilometers and reached Yekaterinburg. Footage showing a column of black smoke was published on the channel.

It is reported that the Defense Forces have once again targeted Russia’s “Achilles’ heel”—yet another Wildberries warehouse.

“Yekaterinburg: a Wildberries warehouse was attacked,” the report noted.

The world.militares community also confirms that this specific facility was targeted: they emphasized that the distance from Yekaterinburg to the border with Ukraine is about 1,750 km.

However, some of the footage published by eyewitnesses shows that this time the strike did not hit the warehouse itself, but landed right next to it. The smoke that Russians are seeing is rising from cars parked next to the warehouse: judging by the footage, quite a few of them have burned.

And even though today’s attack wasn’t particularly successful so far, Exilenova+ is convinced that the warehouse in Yekaterinburg is as good as doomed—and the next strike there will be far more spectacular and effective.
