A traditional action of solidarity was held in Minsk near the detention facility, where political prisoner Alyaksandr Barazenka is kept.
About thirty activist of the civil campaign “European Belarus”, “Young Belarus” and “Young Front” gathered yesterday near the detention facility to express their solidarity with political prisoner Alyaksandr Barazenka. People held portraits of the oppositionist in hands and were handing round leaflets.
The action lasted from 7.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. None of the participants was detained. Only when the oppositionists decided to stand too close to the gates of the detention facility, the guards asked the youth to move to the pavement.
