Radioactive waste of Belarusian nuclear plant to be stored by Minsk

In the settlement of Sosny which is situated in a few kilometers by Minsk, a radioactive waste storage is to be modernized.

As said by the Minister of Extraordinary situations of Belarus Enver Baryeu, the radioactive waste storage is to be modernized and reconstructed. The capacity of the storage is to be increased, BELTA informs.

Enver Baryeu added that launching of the Belarusian nuclear power plant would demand solving the issue of a new radioactive waste storage construction.
