Picket in support of political prisoners in Minsk center (Photo)

Activists of “European Belarus” held a street action with a slogan “Freedom to Political Prisoners!” near Akademkniga shop in Independence Avenue in Minsk.

The young oppositionists were holding portraits of political prisoner Mikalai Autukhovich, who has been on protest hunger strike for almost three months against unlawful detention in prison, and a banner “Freedom to Political Prisoners!”

The picket lasted for 15 minutes during which the young activists were telling passers-by about the political prisoners. None of the participants wasn’t detained.
