Henadz Fyadynich: Sannikov will make a serious competition to Lukashenka

And workers are ready to vote for Sannikov, the Head of REP considers.

Leader of the Belarusian Independent Radio and Electronic Workers' Union (REP) Henadz Fyadynich has entered the initiative group of the candidate Andrei Sannikov.

He explained it by saying that only Sannikov is able to make a serious competition to Alyaksandr Lukashenka, Euramost.org writes.

“From all potential candidates for presidency who made themselves known at present, Andrei Sannikov – is the most perspective candidature”, - Henadz Fyadynich explained his decision to enter the initiative group.

“This man has an experience of state work, knows foreign languages, he is famous in the political circles of Belarus and abroad. In this situation only he is able to make a serious competition to Lukashenka and outrun him”, - Fyadynich underlined.

“I would mark this campaign by the multiplicity of presidential candidates. But, frankly speaking, when I was talking to workers many of them inclined to the candidature of Sannikov. And, believe me, it is not a kind of my preconception. I don’t know how the situation will develop further but now we have what we have. And it suits me completely. Though, undoubtedly, every potential candidate has his own pluses and minuses. I don’t exclude, that the society may arrive at one candidate after signatures collection”, - Henadz Fyadynich marked.

-- Being one of the Trade Union leaders, you should know: to what extent do workers display their political interests now, before the election?

-- Differently. The election will take place by any state of affairs, but one thing is for sure – people are already thinking about the necessity of changes. And it is undoubtedly.

-- And why, in your view, Andrei Sannikov is given preference?

-- Not to feel ashamed for the person, for whom one voted. Perhaps, people understand that Sannikov – is a man of action who can undertake liabilities and fulfill them.
