Activists calling for boycott detained in Vitsebsk (Photo)

A member of the CCP BPF Yan Dzyarzhautsau and a non-party activist Barys Hamaida, who went outside with posters urging citizens to boycott the election, have been detained in the center of Vitsebsk today.

The activists believe that no matter how the events would unfold, “the election results will be faked-up”, “Euroradio” reports.

Policemen approached the activists approximately two hours later and escorted them to the police office. They are now in the Chygunachny District Department of Internal Affairs. They have been accused of an unauthorized picket.
