BRSM to “observe” election in Belarus

As of November 29, 9,587 observers have been accredited in election commissions at the presidential election.
BelaPAN has learnt this from the Central Election Commission.
Six observers were accredited at the Central Election Commission, 563 observers received accreditations at territorial commissions, and 9,018 – at precinct election commissions.
The greater part of observers, 7,055, was proposed by NGOs. The most active organizations that nominate their members as observers are BRSM, the pro-presidential Belarusian Republican Youth Union (1,894), the Belarusian Public Association of Veterans (1,286), the Federation of Trade Unions of Belarus (1,147) and Belaya Rus organization (1,147).
