Today the candidate for presidency has met with Minsk dwellers at several pickets.

Andrei Sannikov has personally taken part in agitation pickets of his campaign near the Central department store and in Yakub Kolas square and the State department store in Independence Avenue.

Dozens of Minsk dwellers have taken part in the meetings with the candidate. The number of participants near the State department store was about one hundred.

Voters asked many questions; among other things they were interested by the future of the Belarusian dictator.

Sannikov answered: “We shall give Lukashenka a child-care leave,” and that drew applause of Minsk dwellers.

Today the early voting has started in the country, and those present were interested what they should do when they are forces to vote in their universities or state-run enterprises to cast their vote before December 16. The politician told that it is necessary to resist pressure, to inform human rights organizations about the facts of illegal pressure, to take part in the voting only on December 19 and to come to the Square on the same day at 8 p.m.

“Lukashenka does not have a right to participate in this election. He has violated all laws which could be violated. He destroyed the Constitution, and even in this election campaign he has violated the law, he has not come personally to submit an application for registration of the initiative group, as it is required. He was afraid to come to the televised debate with us, as we would ask questions we are concerned about. He does not have answers. That is why he is hiding, and driving people forcibly to the early voting. The use of the administrative leverage is totally illegal. We do not have election in our country. Everything is going on according to a usual pattern, electoral fraud is being prepared. But we are the nation, and we would be able to resist this. Believe, we are the majority! Lukashenka has no support of the people today. If it would be announced that he is the winner in the first round – do not believe in that. It would be a lie, and we shall lodge a protest against that.”
