Kalyakin: Early voting should not be recognized

Ballot votes which are stored in ballot boxes do not reflect the real expression of citizens’ will, the politician is convinced.

The national coordinator of “For Fair Election” campaign, the chairman of “Fair World” party Syarhei Kalaykin believes that the results of the early voting should be recognized invalid, “Interfax-Zapad” reports.

“According to our knowledge, the contents of the ballot boxes could be replaced. We doubt that ballot papers kept in those ballot boxes reflect the real expression of will of the people. These ballot papers should be declared invalid and not counted in the final vote count,” Kalyakin said.

According to him, “For Fair Election” campaign carried out monitoring at 250 polling stations situated in 43 residential places of the country. According to observers of the campaign, 20.48% of voters have taken part in the early vote.

“The figures almost coincide with the figures of the Central Election Commission, but the picture of the early voting differs greatly in different cities and regions,” the politician underlined.
