WikiLeaks describes Belarus as a virtual “mafia state”

Belarus has been mentioned on the scandalous whistle-blowing WikiLeaks website.
WikiLeaks began publishing on the Internet cables of American diplomats last weekend. Over 600 documents have already been published, their number continues to grow, Radio Svaboda says.
Cables from the US Embassy in Minsk, which number is more than 1000, have not been released yet. However, Belarus is mentioned in other documents.
Besides, Spanish National Court Prosecutor Jose Grinda Gonzalez mentioned Belarus in his report on Spain’s strategy to combat the organized crime on January 14, 2010.
Grinda said he considers Belarus to a virtual “mafia state”. He alleged one cannot differentiate between the activities of the government and OC groups, a message from the US Embassy in Madrid says.
