Lukashenka who faked the election has accused his opponents of a coup d’état attempt

Ministry of Internal Affairs has completed the preliminary investigation and considers the December 19th events in Belarus to be a coup d’état attempt.

However, the main suspects in the case aren’t members of election committees or chain of command headed by Lukashenka, but the dictator opponents in the presidential campaign.

“Minsk City Internal Affairs Bureau of Preliminary Inquest has completed the preliminary investigation of the criminal case brought against the citizens of the Republic of Belarus – the masterminds and active participants of mass riots of December 19, 2010.

According to the investigation report, comprehensive evidence have been obtained proving an attempt to alter the Republic of Belarus constitutional system by previous concert with foreign states and institutions representatives, which ultimately aimed at a coup d’état. The functions and the level of participation in the happened events of each person involved have been completely established in the course of the cases investigation.

The level of liability for the deeds done will be established in court.

Taking into account the requests for legal help addressed to foreign states, existing case materials regarding foreign citizens and establishments have been isolated into a separate file and the case investigation in the direction specified will proceed, including the investigation against the persons absconding on the territory of the foreign states”.
