Andrei Sannikov continues to read materials of criminal case

Andrei Sannikov, a presidential candidate, continues to read materials of his criminal case, under which he is charged with organizing the so-called “mass riots” of December 19, 2010.

Ala Sannikova, the mother of the politician, says that he had been familiarizing himself with the case files for 5 days in a row without an interval in the weekend:

“Saturday, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday… Today is the fifth day. They are obviously in a hurry, as he does not stop on the weekend as well.”

On April 6 a parcel for her son was taken from Ala Sannikova. All food products which had not been accepted for two weeks, were taken, Radio Svaboda informs. So mother concluded that her son’s health had improved. We remind that for a long time only dietary products were allowed for Andrei Sannikov. It is known from the letters of the political prisoner that his joint disease had aggravated. Ala Sannikova receives letters from her son regularly:

“He writes that he has been given a personal sleeping accommodation. However, I cannot understand, how come? Had he been forced to sleep on the floor, and only now a berth has been placed at his service?”
