Two letters have been received from the political prisoner.
They were written on December 22 and 31 and sent to Anastasia Kukharenka, who keeps correspondence with Autukhovich, Salidarnasts reports.
Mikalai Autukhovich writes he was not able to send letter in November and assures he is strong and can endure everything.
“Some enjoy living like in 1937, but not me. I had to defend my hounour and the right to be called a human being, not an animal. It was the only way to make them understand and hear. I am asking you again: do not worry, do not worry. I am strong, I will endure everything, even if I will have to resist the evil alone,” Autukhovich writes.
According to Anastasia Kukharenka, it’s the first time when Autukhovich has asked to send him more letters. The political prisoner said he had nothing to write about and asked to send him pens. Autukhivich asked to inform him about events in the world because he needs “to keep his mind far from prison”. He wrote he would have sent holiday greetings to everyone, with whom he holds correspondence, if he could.
We remind that on December 16, a SMS was received from Ivatsevichy penal colony No. 5 reporting Autukhovich cut his veins. On December 22, the information was confirmed by Alyaksandr Shershunovich, a prison officer responsible for cell-type facilities. Autukhovich was convicted for illegal possessing and carrying five hunting gun cartridges.
