39-year-old Andrei Bandarenka called up for military service

Andrei Bandarenka was informed about the grounds for putting him on the list of travel banned.

As the director of Platform organization was told in the Citizenship and Migration Office at the Kastrychnitski district police department, he was banned from leaving the country in connection with “evasion of draft or reserve military service, 05.03.2012”.

The Platrform director heard from officers of the military enlistment office:

“It's nonsense. We cannot believe it!”

Andrei Bandarenka says he has not received any summonses or notifications.

“If the military enlistment office says the decision of the KGB and the Administration is nonsense, it demonstrates the level of these structures. It is complete degradation. But I'd like to serve in the army for a month or two to see how defenders of the country, among them army officers, live. They can send me a summons and draft me. I only ask not to forget that the administration of penal colony No. 2 celebrated my departure for several days. I suppose army officers in the military unit will drink themselves to death after my retirement,” Bandarenka said.
