Why is KGB Chef going to Rome if he’s banned from entering EU?

KGB chef Vadzim Zaitsau is going on a business trip to Rome.

The Belarusian prime-minister signed decree #84 on Vadzim Zaitsau’s business trip to Rome on 28 February. On 2 March 2012 the decree was added to the National register of legal acts, according to the National canter of legal information of the Republic of Belarus. The date of the trip is not announced.

We remind that in January 2011 the European Union Council of Ministers added KGB chef Vadzim Zaitsau to the “black list” of the persons who are affected by the visa sanctions for their assistance in falsifications of the 2010 presidential voting results and repressions against presidential candidates, hundreds of activists and the entire civil society. Moreover, bank accounts of the persons from the “black list” held in European banks are frozen.
