KGB chief personnel officer dismissed

General Mayor Ihar Bakhmatau has been released from a position of a KGB deputy chairman responsible for personnel and planning.

The KGB officer was transferred to the reserve due to age with the right to wear military uniforms and insignia. The appropriate order was signed by Alyaksandr Lukashenka on May 3, BelTA reports.
