Metro bombing victim: “They made a blast and now mock me!”

Inessa Krutaya has faced serious problems with health – she went blind in one eye.

The girl, who suffered from the Minsk metro bombing on April 11, 2011, wrote it on her blog.

“My eye became blind. The state-run hospital says I can have a surgery in autumn. As I understand, they don't care about my interests, it's just a queue... A private hospital says I may have great problems if I wait for two months. They said the splinter began to move. The state hospital performed only visual checks. Either they did not notice it, or...  The private hospital says the eye-lens offered by the state hospital cannot be used if the other eye is healthy (with it, lenses in both eyes should be replaced). The price is the same, so they have no interest to deceive me. As for the splinter... I will face lots of problems if I don't hurry. The doctor, who is ready to cure me, goes on holiday. I need to be very fast. It's more than 1500 dollars... The state hospital takes money as well. It's also very expensive, but they would implant a wrong lens and the operation would be too late... Let this f***ing state burn in hell!!! They made a blast!!! They give posts and houses to the people who did not perform their duties!!! They mutilated me!!! They fired me from work!!! From a state-financed agency, by the way!!! They don't treat me!!! They don't pay!!! They not just cast me away, they are mocking me!!! It is TORTURE!!! Let this f***ing state go to hell!!!” Inessa Krutaya cries desperately.

We remind that girl's father Alyaksandr Kruty, who took active part at the trial over the bomb case, was detained. Court chair Alyaksandr Fedartsou delivered a ruling to detain him on September 22. According to the ruling,  Kruty “deliberately behaved rowdy, showing particular cynicism and disregarding moral norms” at a hospital in Minsk on August 17. He is said to have poured two jars of liquid with urine odour on a chief doctor. On prosecutor's request, Kruty was sent to a psychiatric hospital. The medical evaluation showed he was insane.

On December 6, the Maskouski district court of Minsk ruled to apply mandatory safety and treatment measures to Alyaksandr Kruty. After discharging from the psychiatric hospital, he was sent to a jail in Zhodzina and to detention facility No. 1.
