Some Countries Allow Ukrainian Armed Forces To Fire At Russian Territory With Their Weapons

Latvian Foreign Minister Baiba Braze confirmed that Ukraine has already received Western assistance, which is not limited to attacks on the territory of the aggressor country of the Russian Federation.

In an interview with European Pravda, the minister emphasized that strikes on the territory of an aggressor country for defense are permitted by international law.

She added that Ukraine receives weapons from Western partners with a public reservation to avoid using them outside Ukraine. However, this approach, according to her, is already changing.

“There are already countries that have already provided weapons to Ukraine, without such restrictions,” said the head of the Latvian Foreign Ministry.

Braje added that in these cases, lifting restrictions is not discussed publicly.
