Vast fires near Minsk: Sky clouded with smoke25

Today afternoon northern and eastern districts of the Belarusian capital were beclouded with smoke.
A user Norden reported that on Twitter. “Right now a corn field before the entry road to Minsk, M4, is burining,” he wrote.
The editorial office of charter97.org asked for details from the spokesperson of the Ministry of Emergency Response Vitaly Navitsky. “I am out of touch on a matter of any fire. Let the people who post pictures of the fire on the Internet, call 101,” he said.
In a few minutes the Ministry of Emergency Response published an official report about the fire. As it turned out, there were two hot spots. “A harvested field, not a corn field is burning. Our units are at work,” БелТА was told by the spokesperson of the agency.

Harvested field and dry grass were burning in the area of Karastayanava Street and Dauginauski Trakt. 13 vehicles, including vehicles of the Ministry of Emergency Response, were used. Besides, harvested field and dry grass were on fire in Minsk region on the field near the village of Maly Trastsyanets, were 9 special vehicles were used.
As a result, more than 20 unit of equipment, including Mi-8 helicopter of the MER, put out the fire.
