Verkhovna Rada approved sanctions against Russia


The Ukrainian Parliament has passed in the first reading the law on imposing sanctions against Russia.

243 members of the Parliament voted for that. However, the faction of the Party of Regions have not given a single vote for that, “Ukrinform” writes.

At the same time, a decision has been adopted to send the document up for renewal in the second reading. It has been stated by Verkhovna Rada Speaker Oleksandr Turchynov.

Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk offers to submit the draft law to a vote as a whole at 4 p.m.
