Statkevich and Sannikov Agree on Activity Coordination

Candidates for presidency in 2010 and former political prisoners Andrei Sannikov and Mikalai Statkevich met in Warsaw.

Politicians agreed on coordination of international activities and discussed issues related to the preparation of the Congress of Democratic Forces. Mikalai Statkevich wrote it on his Facebook account.

“I continue discussing the future Congress of Democratic Forces with leaders of democratic organizations, he writes. – The other day I met with leaders of the European Belarus in Warsaw. Andrei Sannikov and his team support the idea of Congress and are ready to work to ensure so that it to be fruitful and contribute to the consolidation of the Belarusian democratic forces in times when our country is on the verge of dramatic events. We agreed on coordination of international activities in support of the Belarusian democracy and discussed issues related to the preparation of the Congress.
